![]() I'm able to download some of the file (10-35%) before the connection crashes. I’ve now tested installing Creative Cloud and Photoshop on one of my audio production computers,Ī MacBook Pro 2018 with Mac OS 10.14.6 to check if it's the actual hardware is at fault. The Adobe tech specialist helped me test the latter via a remote access of the machine. I have checked proxies and I've tried to install Photoshop via root access. It's just during the downloading of large files I seem to have issues. Generally my internet connection works just fine. I’ve even tested connecting directly to the antenna, bypassing the router (and wifi) all together. I’ve tested the download using a physical cable connected to the router. I’ve also tested downloading though myĬell phone connection (hot spot, different provider). They couldn't find anything wrong with my internet connection. I checked with my network provider for any possible issues that might cause download problems, but The problem is that I don't have a firewall or an anti-virus software enabled. I ended every attempt to download Photoshop with the dreaded 113 error code: Error code 113 indicates that the device is not able to connect to Adobe servers, or that the firewall settings on the device are interfering with the installation process. ![]() These software packages I had to reinstall via the Adobe server. But not Adobe's Creative Cloud (and Photoshop). Most software packages I already had downloaded and saved for the Mac OS 10.13.6 version. During the reinstallation no new or additional software was added. ![]() I can confirm that every software program used on this Mac worked perfectly before the reinstallation. (What happened there, Apple?) Due to the collection of software packages on this particular Mac I reinstalled Mac OS 10.13.6 (High Sierra). I experienced a system crash due to a Apple security update for 10.13.6. I noticed the issue shortly after the reinstallation of one my MacBook Pros. I've run into a strange network issue, which is something I've never experienced during my 30 years as a Mac user. Why can't I get a stable connection to servers while downloading (using ethernet or wifi)? Dear Mac User, Can anyone offer any kind of suggestions? But that is the only difference since I've started to experience this issue. I can't imagine there being anything about my Mac mini that could have caused this to occur. Nothing has changed about my setup except for changing out my old iMac for the new Mac mini, which I restored from a Time Machine backup from my iMac. If I'm connected to my Wi-Fi, it still fails.Īt this point, I'm completely out of ideas. I know this is specific to my network because I can connect to the server using an FTP app on my iPhone 12 Pro Max running the latest version of iOS, but only if I'm using the cellular network. Every one of these attempts still had the same result. I also changed the DNS on both my Ethernet and Wi-Fi network. I connected to various VPN locations all over the world. I started up Parallels running Windows 11 to essentially try a different computer, and tried using FileZilla on there. I have completely restarted my modem and Google Wi-Fi. I am using the same Netgear modem and Google Wi-Fi on Ethernet and Wi-Fi I was using with my old iMac. I reach out to my ISP who told me there were no kind of blocks on my network. But then eventually said my IP has been getting blocked again and again. ![]() I reached out to the host who told me there is no issue on their end with my IP being able to access the server. Since upgrading to the new Mac mini, there have been instances where it would let me connect and download successfully, although extremely slow. I disconnect from the server, try to connect again, and get the same message as above. ![]() But once I start trying to download files from it, it constantly asks for my login over and over, and then my transfer eventually fails to complete. If I leave the server alone for a while, it eventually does let me connect. The server may be down, or your network may not be properly configured." And FileZilla just keep trying to connect over and over. If I can't connect, I will get a message on Cyberduck saying, "Connection closed without indication. But what I'm experiencing now is not that at all. Occasionally, I would experience an issue where the server was down for a while. I would connect to the FTP server using CyberDuck or FileZilla Pro. I am now having an odd issue where I have a lot of difficulty accessing an FTP server I had no issue at all accessing before on my older iMac. Two weeks ago, I had a hardware issue with it and finally upgraded to the latest Mac mini M2 Pro and now running macOS 13.5. Until recently, I was using a Late 2013 iMac running the latest version Catalina as I was no longer able to update any further. ![]()
